In 2006, we had the chance to sit down with Robert Wisdom, the man who played Maj. Howard “Bunny” Colvin on The Wire. Maj. Colvin traveled down an interesting road on the show – first legalizing drugs in Western Baltimore in what became known as Hamsterdam; then attempting to fix the school system with a controversial pilot program that was targeted at the most difficult and disruptive students.

It’s fitting that the Wisdom, like Bunny, lives life a bit off the beaten path – finding his way to Hollywood after stops in Jamacia, D.C., New York and London. Fortunately for us, in 2006 he slowed down long enough to sit down and talk about life on the road less traveled.
