Hello everyone,

We’ve had some great celebrity interviews in the past, but I was particularly excited to see this week’s interview with Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Even if you have never seen the show before, I think you will still enjoy the interview. The three of them together are hilarious – and Charlie Day is my hero.

One on One with the guys from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Most of us dream of having our own TV show, but Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day actually made it happen. The three shot a pilot for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on a digital camcorder for under $200 and sold the show to FX. In 2005, the show about four self-absorbed slackers running a pub in South Philadelphia debuted on the network. The show exceeded expectations and the following season, Danny DeVito was added to the cast.

The show, which has been described as “Seinfeld on crack,” will soon be back for its fourth season, so we sat down with McElhenney (Mac), Howerton (Denis) and Day (Charlie) to talk about egg salad sandwiches, The Night Man and their dream of one day working with Kurt Russell.

Murphy’s Law – One Shot: 90210
Since there aren’t many new shows to get excited about this season, Joel Murphy has decided to expand his horizons. He is going to seek out shows that he wouldn’t normally watch and give them “one shot” to impress him. For his first “One Shot” column, Murphy reviews this week’s 90210 episode, “Lucky Strike.”

Note to Self – Adjusting expectations
After the Washington Redskins 16-7 loss to the New York Giants last Thursday, many fans in Washington began worrying that the season was already doomed. This week, Brian Murphy attempts to take an unbiased look at the team and tells fans what they can realistically expect this season.

Outside of the In-Crowd – Cooties aren’t real
When Courtney Enlow was growing up, she wasn’t interesting in the boys she went to school with. Her childhood crushes were all celebrities. This week, Enlow steps into the Wayback Machine and reveals the four “men” responsible for ensuring that she would make it to adulthood unsatisfied by literally every male she encountered.

Overrated – Sex in wild places
We all know that Ned Bitters is a boring old man. But this week, he further cements his status as a curmudgeon by telling all of you young whippersnappers that sex in public places is overrated. Bitters argues that while sex in public always seems exciting on TV, in reality it is awkward and messy.

Guest Blog – Rich Lovatt’s guide to reconnecting with your inner comic book geek
The Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy II and Wanted – it has been a great summer for comic book fans. But, for those of you out there who loved the films, but aren’t regular comic readers, Rich Lovatt has put together this handy guide to finding trade paperbacks and graphic novels featuring the characters from this summer’s blockbusters.

Week 60 Spotlight: Armageddon office pool.

Earlier this week, international scientists successful launced the Large Hadron Collider, a particle-smashing machine that may unlock the mysteries of the universe. Or, it may create black holes on Earth that will kill us all instantly.

While scientists put the odds of the Large Hadron Collider killing us all at about the odds of winning the lottery, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are still concerned that there is even a slight chance of Armageddon. This week, they try to figure out why scientists won’t rest until they kill us all. They also place their bets on what global event is most likely to wipe out all mankind. And somehow, they still find the time to talk about Batman.

How do the guys think the world will end? What happens when you get sucked into a black hole? What did a villain call Batgirl in Frank Miller’s latest Batman comic? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s show.
