Kaitlin deserves her success, but she also landed where she is because she’s very lucky. Go to the groundlings, second city, io, UCB, and you’ll see lots of (financially) struggling actors who are amazing and funny. her outlook of “i just won’t be miserable,” sure, is nice, but it’s also not realistic. she got all sorts of breaks that wannabes — talented, hardworking wannabes — never do.
I did the acting biz for years, and, guess what — it IS hard.

If she was serious about having babies won’t that be a problem? I mean, Rob (McElhenney) states on his myspace-account that he generally doesn’t want to have kids. Of course, she never said she wanted kids with HIM…

The Batman tangent was a little weird, but I guess that’s Hobotrashcan for you. Fun interview overall, and I had no idea she was on those other shows. Going to have to check out reruns of Drew Carey for her now.

Nice interview, I like the fact that she used the “God will be mad at you..” line that I hear from your close associates.

When you get to DeVito, cause it seems he’s next in line, tell him “It’s Always Rainy in Wellington” is waiting to out do Flight of the Choncords as the next big New Zealand thing.
