Like “CourtsDad” I am in my 50′s and adore this show, so much so that I traveled from New Orleans to L. A. for Paley Fest’s ” An Evening with Chuck”. I was able to tell Josh Schwartz that it is my favorite show ever, and I have grown up watching TV. This is the only show I have ever been so attached to. My whole family loves it, all ages. We never miss it. I can’t believe it is not more popular. I will be heartbroken if it gets cancelled. EVERYONE PLEASE WATCH CHUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you miss “Chuck”, just come down here to NZ and you can watch it. They just started showing it.

I feel your pain, almost every show I watch gets cancelled. I didn’t watch “Friends”, or “Mad About You”, “Hogan Knows Best”, or even “Flavor of Love”, but those shows still made more seasons.

I miss “The Tick”, or “Sledgehammer”, or “Good vs Evil”. Why do the writers with talent always lose their shows?

I say bring in more interviews! I’m reall curious to know where did the 8 million or so people who watched last season go? I just really hope the numbers go up in the next few episodes.

Another thing, last year I blogged on the NBC chuck site. They changed that, now you have to register with NBC. I think that has caused some people to not post comments like they did last year.

I watch it online all the time since I live in the country. I watch all my shows online. I saw season 2 ep. 1 on hulu and thought that they crammed too much into it because of trying to get people caught up. Ep. 2 was classic Chuck! Loved it! Already seen it 4x. If they pull it from online, I won’t be watching it. It seems like they should be able to come up with a way to count online viewers.

That sounds mighty exciting. This show definitely deserves more attention. There’s always something for everyone as the show has a broad appeal. The first episode of season two has been totally fun, quite disappointing that not many people seen it.

I truly don’t believe that geeks and techno wizards are the only fanbase available for this show. I’m 51 years old and managed cranky Teamsters for years so I don’t think I’m a geek and I love this freakin show. It has something that appeals to anyone willing to watch. You have the geek factor, the spy thriller action factor, the goofy supporting cast factor, The always funny Adam Baldwin (think Jayne) factor (Hell, maybe I am a geek) and a truly stunning actress in Yvonne Strahovski. All people need to do is give it a chance. I’m with Joel in championing this show and hope that NBC will give it a chance to find the audience that it deserves.

It is one of the most popular downloads on itunes, amazon and hulu. I wonder if NBC takes that into account before they decide on the fate of a show.

This is the only show I look forward to each week as well.

I guess I am “off the grid” totally, because I don’t even have a DVR. I miss my DVR, my ex got it in the divorce.

Seriously though, I agree, I think that if they want to increase the rating, the best thing would be to pull the legal free distribution of the show – that would force people to watch it or time-shift it (or pirate it, which hopefully wouldn’t be a huge percentage of the audience)

If they are hell bent on putting it online, then they should do so later than they currently are. It wasn’t even 24 hours between the second episode airtime before the online streaming began.
