Week 75 Spotlight: That’s f’ing distracting!

In the last seven days, many things have changed. Christian Bale had a public meltdown on the set of the new Terminator movie, Michael Phelps got caught smoking a bong and the Pittsburgh Steelers were once again crowned Super Bowl champs.
But one thing hasn’t changed this week and that’s the average American’s desire to see celebrities humble themselves by offering disingenuous public apologies when they make mistakes. Just once, our podcast co-hosts Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle would love to see a celebrity refuse to apologize for cursing out a crew member or smoking a bong. They would respect celebrities so much more if they didn’t pretend to be sorry (and they would respect the viewing public so much more if they would stop clamoring for these fake apologies).
