Lars - personally, I think you win the big brain award for whipping out a Helfgott reference. Thanks for the compliment, but I think I'm more like the Victor Borge of the computer keyboard. ;)

Just leaving a nice compliment and some friendly suggestions and it's still exponetially better than any single thought in "Atlas Shrugged". Where do you keep this jar, Kirkman!?

You're like David Helfgott, but instead of a piano you have a keyboard and too much free time.

Oh, and another couple of shows, now that I'm thinking about it:

Jericho - 1.5 seasons, the storyline gets wrapped up, they did a great service to the fans. It's a bit on the cheesy CBS family side, at times, but otherwise, it's full of good character, a great message, and some mystery and suspense. I really enjoyed it.

Twin Peaks - Chances are you've seen it. If you haven't, experience it. Still one of my favorite series of all time, even up to the end when Lynch dropped some acid and let the execs take over.

But...but...Games Workshop HQ is in Glen Burnie. It's like a mini Mecca for me.

Great cast, guys, really, and thanks for the shoutout. I'm not really that smart, I just lease a brain in a jar on Thursdays to help figure Lost out. Of course, now the writers are just completely making stuff up to personally fuck with me, so next season should be a royal pain in the ass.

Great Ben clip at the beginning, too. Those were back in the good old days when Emerson had some time to chew scenery.

As for the unresolved couple thing in TV shows, you all can blame David Addison and Maddie Hayes for that.

Suggestions for summer viewing:

Alias- ok, part of seasons 4 & 5 sucked, but the first two are some of the best action TV around. Lots of bizarre mythology like Lost showed J.J.'s propensity for geekdom before the Island

Starblazers- I'm not a big fan of all the anime crap around today, but back in the day, this animated series transcended any limitations to become one of the greatest series of all time. Better than Battlestar, my hand to God.

Firefly- not sure if you've seen it, but it's great. But if you choose to watch Serenity don't tell me because I'll bitch for hours. My Kate bashing pales in comparison to my Whedon bashing.

By the way, Mad Men has been the best show on tv since it started. Unbelievably good, so I agree.
