These days, The Sopranos controversial fade to black finale has become infamous, but back in June of 2007, everyone was still trying to figure out how the show was going to end. One theory floating around was that Phil Leotardo would kill Tony Soprano as payback for the death of his brother Billy.
It was an interesting scenario, but one that was almost never possible. Chris Caldovino revealed in a 2007 interview with us that his Billy Leotardo character was created at the last minute to resolve a naming conflict. Caldovino also talked about life on The Sopranos, his film Brooklyn Rules and his thoughts on how he wanted to see The Sopranos end.
