I never had the chance to really get to know them. However the brief flickering memories I do have of them I hold dear. I'm so sorry your Grandpa passed away. Mine died 2 years ago and I miss him, so much. I was so lucky that for a good chunk of my childhood, he lived next door to me. So many lovely hours spent, hanging with him in his shop, listening to his hilarious stories. I hope that right now, our grandpas are having a drink together and talking about their granddaughters. I feel the exact same way about my grandpa. I lost him several years ago and I still miss him every day. He fought an epic battle against many cancerous foes from some point in the 70s until the end. He was the most incredible person I have ever met or will ever meet, I'm sure of it. Big huge hugs & R.I.P.s to our respective Grandpas for the amazingness of their existences.
