Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle have certainly said some objectionable things on previous podcasts, but this week they seem to be openly antagonizing their listeners.
The dynamic duo lash out at a wide range of targets, including the senator who shouted at Obama, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Nebraska, bread bowl pasta and Subway’s toasted subs. By the end of the show, they actually begin hoping that they will say something so offensive that they will be forced into giving a public apology.

Many of my friends are wicked excited about the double down, and have been talking of little else in recent days. So, judging by their response, I’d say it’s on it’s way to making a national appearance.
I shall abstain, of course, being a veggiesaurus and all, but it looks like one of the most hilarious sandwiches ever. When I heard about it, I thought it was a joke.
And regarding one of your many rants this week: Subway, really? Why loose your venom on them? Their bread’s not really as crappy as you say, and frankly they’re one of the few places where I can eat on the road. So there.
