I really enjoyed this article Court. I must say that I'm disappointed that you talked smack about 2 and 1/2 Men. With my oft mentioned love for sophomoric humor, you know that has to be one of my favorite shows. I agree with you about Modern Family as that is a very funny show. Always glad to see Al Bundy back. I'm with Mellotactics in expressing my enjoyment of Community and thanks to you, my new love for Always Sunny. With all that said I'm glad to see this decade pass. I started it with all 4 grandparents, both parents and both in-law parents. I'm going out with 1 of each so this hasn't been a good decade for me. Isn't ending good for you either since your losing battle with a minivan has now left your car and your dog dead.

I know, right? I knew I should have left her anonymous. As soon as I mention it, the government comes after me and wraps her around a minivan. Conspiracy.

Something tells me I'm going to really love these series of posts... Thank you for giving props to Modern Family (Best family sitcom on ABC since Home Improvement and funniest show on the network since Norm and Teen Angel. Although the latter is hilarious for ironic reasons). No, but seriously, what I'm going to take away from this decade is all the great scripted tv that was presented then swiftly taken from us, either completely or almost, by stupid TV execs or because lack of viewers (i.e., caused by people's various levels of ignorance). Programs, just to name a few, like: Freaks & Geeks, Arrested Development, Andy Richter Control's the Universe, Veronica Mars, In the Loop, Grosse Point (remember that one?), Firefly, Friday Night Lights, Southland, Miracles, Life, etc. I'm just waiting for some dipsh*t to push the big red button on It's Always Sunny or Community. On a personal note, during this decade I realized that wearing black framed glasses and epilets on shirts was a fashion choice I made too soon since now it looks like I haven't changed my style since the mid-90s and/or that I currently work at Urban Outfitters; and that the only people who put more pop culture references in their speech than my younger brother & me are a fictional mother and daughter from a sweet little nook of a town called Stars Hollow.

Fantastic post (despite my eternal love for LOL Cats), but it won't be complete without a reply from Court's Dad.
