Hello everyone,

Here’s what’s new on HoboTrashcan.com this week:

Murphy’s Law – A SFW review of Batman XXX
The fine folks at Vivid Entertainment were nice enough to send Joel Murphy a review copy of their much-anticipated parody of the 1960s Batman TV show, so this week Murphy reviews the film. Like any true comic book fan, Murphy ignores the sex scenes and focuses instead on the parody’s attention to detail and appreciation of the source material.

Outside of the In-Crowd – Regretful Adoration Theater: St. Elmo’s Fire
Courtney Enlow is on a mission to go back and revisit movies from her childhood that she at one time loved unconditionally. Some of these movies she continues to enjoy as guilty pleasures, others she now regrets ever having been smitten by. The first movie up for review in “Regretful Adoration Theater” is the 80s classic St. Elmo’s Fire.

Positive Cynicism – My rules of the road
Aaron R. Davis, clearly gearing up for his future as a curmudgeon who yells at kids to get off his lawn, takes some time this week to yell at the punk kid college students who live in his neighborhood. Davis is tired of the way they are driving (and, most likely, their rock music), so he officially puts them on notice this week.

Hobo Radio 134 – Where’s my sexy voice?
What is the best way to fix American sitcoms? Why is Rachel from Friends ranked so high on Entertainment Weekly’s Top 100 Characters of the Past 20 Years poll? Will an under-the-weather Joel Murphy make it through the show without collapsing or losing his voice? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
