It’s not easy being Lars. For years, he has toiled away in mediocrity, overlooked and ignored by the world at large. When glancing at his pasty skin and boney arms, people typically don’t expect much from him. But this past week, like Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, Lars saw an opportunity for greatness and he seized it. Today, he recounts that glorious moment.
In addition to Lars’ moment of glory, he and Joel discuss Nicole Kidman’s elevator for her car, Morgan Freeman’s replacement in the Dr. Alex Cross series and the most virus-ridden celebrities on the Internet. They also find out if they have what it takes to be Jennifer Lopez’s personal assistant.
How did Lars peak? Who directed Gone Baby Gone? Why are sperm banks letting Jennifer Aniston take home samples? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
