This weeks Lars makes a surprising confession. For years, he told his friends that he doesn’t like horror movies, but in reality he avoids them because they really scare him. In fact, even episodes of British children’s show Doctor Who seem to terrify Lars.

Lars and Joel Murphy discuss horror movies this week, including the classic slasher film Halloween and the newer Saw and Paranormal Activity franchises. They also discuss the private lives of ghosts, including what they do in their downtime and what sort of horrible things they must see in the houses they haunt. All of that, plus a discussion of a new film based on a Reddit thread, a disturbing look at our founding fathers and a new person you should know.

What’s scarier than a pit full of needles? Why did Benjamin Franklin really tie a key to a kite string? What should a guy do if he stumbles across a lost, crying kid in a grocery store? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
