Being the good, red blooded American patriots they are, Joel Murphy and Lars know very little about foreign countries. So when Joel recently took a trip to Toronto, he was overwhelmed by their strange Metric System, which involved liters, kilometers and degrees Celsius. Something as simple as driving a car became incredibly complex and confusing.
The dynamic duo discuss the rest of the world’s insistence on using the Metric System. They also share their thoughts on Justin Bieber’s two big news stories, the fact that the Christmas season is officially upon us and the lack of successful father/son musician combos.
What exactly is poutine? Whatever happened to Ashley Judd? What happens when Joel and Lars take their first on-air phone call? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.

I’m not Canadian, but my mum is. So I know all sorts of Canadian things. I learned both spellings of words when I was a kid and still mix them up today. Canada has always had (American) bacon, they just called it crispy bacon. Bacon is ham, and crispy bacon is what Americans call bacon. And of course I know the Canadian anthem! I grew up learning both, silly.
I can’t believe you kept my phone call in! Oh lordy. I figured you’d cut it out or stick it at the end of the show as the easter egg.

I am not sure how I am better at being white, but I’ll take it!
Can Beiber even drive? Like, does he have a license?
