Hello everyone,

Here’s what’s new on HoboTrashcan.com this week:

Review – Prometheus
Ridley Scott’s Alien not-a-prequel has a lot of buzz surrounding it, but does it live up to the hype? Before you spend your hard-earned money on the film, read our review and find out if its worth the price of admission.

Murphy’s Law – Write me a song, rock star
Rock of Ages, like Glee, Across the Universe and Mama Mia, covers popular songs instead of writing its own original music. Joel Murphy takes umbrage with these types of musicals and thinks its about time the writers of these films and shows actually sit down and write some original songs.

Positive Cynicism – The college routine (for non-collegians)
As if trapped in a full on Bill Murray Groundhog Day situation, every year Aaron R. Davis finds himself living out the same pattern in his college town as the new students move in, make a lot of noise and create a general nuisance. But the summer is his glorious reprieve.

The Teachers’ Lounge – Memorable Moments 2012, Pt. II
In January, high school English teacher Ned Bitters shared some of his favorite moments from the classroom this year. Now that the school year is coming to a close, he’s back with more ridiculous things his students said and did.

Hobo Radio 225 – It gets good
This week, Joel Murphy and Lars channel their inner M. Night Shyamalan (circa 1999, of course – not the modern-day, sad M. Night Shyamalan) and deliver a twist ending you’ll never see coming.

Things start out normal enough. They discuss Joel’s latest idiotic purchase – a $15 Alfred Pennyworth “action” figure from The Dark Knight Rises. Then they share their thoughts on the Prometheus hype and the infamous Fassbender penis. But in the final segment of the show, things take a turn for the bizarre as the dynamic duo stumble upon a golden subject that you’ll never see coming.
