When asked about the chances of him returning to do commentary for the WWE:

“I think that ship’s sailed. They’re getting younger. They are going with the youth movement, or at least that’s their intentions, which I get. They certainly know that I’m ready, willing and able. I’m out there in the perpetual bullpen. If all the arms go dead, figuratively speaking, and they needed somebody to come in and get a few outs, I probably could do that, but I don’t expect my uniform to get dirty anytime soon.”
