Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle are joined by improviser and co-founder of the Stoop Storytelling Series Jessica Henkin.
They discuss America reaching “peak sloth,” Jessica’s romantic fling with American mythologist Joseph Campbell and the religious psychiatrist who once told her she had “no hope.” They also talk about Unscripted, the series of two-act improvised plays Joel and Jessica are performing in.
What are the perks of being named one of Baltimore’s best couples? What does Jessica have against white guys with beards? Why is Lars talking about LBJ? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
This week’s music:
- Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
- End – “Autodidacte” by Tour De France

I don’t know what they are saying, but that end song is pretty on fleek.
You should isolate Lars saying that you are the coolest, and then play it back to him when you have a disagreement.
