Voting Machines Elect One Of Their Own As President

Last night, the United States had a historic election. In case you haven’t heard, the results are in and America has elected an electronic voting machine as the next President of the United States.

Once upon a time, there was a great network that showed music videos all the time. Then, an evil sorcerer cast a spell on the network and suddenly the music videos were replaced with horrible reality programming. It seemed like all was lost. But then, a handsome prince was able to save the videos and make them available to all of the townspeople once more – and that handsome prince was The Internet.

That’s right, thanks to the power of the Internet, we can all once again remember the glory days of MTV and watch videos any time we want. All of the great videos from the 80s (as well as modern videos) are now available at MTVMusic.com (a name that is repetitive, but sadly necessary now that MTV is no longer synonymous with music), including the Michael Jackson classic “Thriller,” which you can watch above.

If you are someone who loves the look and feel of porn movies, but just can’t stand to watch all of the gratuitous sex, then James Gunn has a solution for you – PG Porn. It’s all here – the bad acting, the cheesy dialogue, the poor video quality, but without any of those boring sex scenes.

The first installment of PG Porn, entitled “Nailing Your Wife,” stars Nathan Fillion and Aria Giovanni. Giovanni plays a frustrated housewife who shows up at a construction site looking for her husband, but finds the chiseled Fillion instead. Just when it looks like the two are about to get hot and heavy, things take a surprising turn.

Artist Mark Jenkins recently collaborated with Greenpeace on a street art project aimed at bringing awareness to the issue of melting polar ice caps. Jenkins created several human-like “hobo polar bears” and placed them around D.C. After one of the polar bears was deemed suspicious, the bomb squad was called into investigate and most of the stuffed bears were quickly removed. (Not since Boston shut down over a Mooninite Lite Brite has a city overreacted this badly.)

We aren’t sure exactly how to describe il mondo del Fubbs, except to say that it is one of the most unique and interesting ways to kill time we’ve ever come across. When the site loads, a curtain opens up revealing a table with a box sitting on top of it. Various icons scroll from right to left across the box; each icon, when clicked, loads a different interactive scene.

Rabbit takes the classic Dick and Jane illustrations and transforms them into a haunting animated morality tale. We would attempt to explain this video further, but it’s better if you just watch it. Trust us, it’s awesome.

Anyone who has ever read Women in Refrigerators knows that more often than not, writers portray women as victims who must be saved by their male counterparts. But occasionally, Hollywood gets it right and comes up with female characters who kick ass and take names.
