Hobo Radio 147 – Water, water everywhere
- Introduction
- A waste of water
- Emmy tirade
- From the mind of M. Night Shyamalan
- Forbes most bankable actors
- Lars and Joel Time
- “Morgan Freeman’s Debut Roles” by Yellow Ostrich
If there is one thing Lars can’t stand (besides Martin Short), it’s when some punk neighborhood kid wastes water by recklessly spraying it out of a hose for fun. It’s wasteful, but worse, the water has probably passed through Baltimore’s Inner Harbor at some point, which means it isn’t something you want anywhere near you or anything you own.
In addition to Lars’ rant about wasting water, he and Joel find plenty of other things to launch into angry tirades about, including the pointlessness of the Emmys, the stupidity of the Fantastic Four’s origin story and “the mind of M. Night Shyamalan.” They also break down Forbes list of the ten most profitable actors.
How dangerous are cosmic rays? Why do Emmy voters fixate on certain actors and shows? How is M. Night Shyamalan like your crazy ex-girlfriend? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
