Joel Murphy and Lars are back for 2013 and, as fate would have it, they make their return on the day the Academy Award nominations hit the Internet. So, of course, they take the time to share their thoughts on the nominations, including the biggest snubs and the selections that left them shaking their heads.
The boys also discuss how they spent their “sabbaticals” away from the show. While Joel did very little, it seems Lars took the opportunity to head to a cabin in the woods for some sledding, some drinking and some awkward social interactions.
Is there a fun nickname for 2013? Is there a secret cabal in charge of Oscar nominations? How crazy is Daniel Day-Lewis? The answers to these questions and more are in this week’s podcast.
