Hobo Radio 470 – Late night Academy Award musings
After the 90th Academy Awards ceremony wrapped up, Joel Murphy and Lars Periwinkle fired up their recorders to share their immediate thoughts on the show. They share their thoughts on many facets of the show – the winners, the speeches, the lack of John Mahoney in the “In Memoriam.” They also try to make sense of a world where Kobe Bryant has an Oscar.
They also discuss Josh wine, Luke’s plan to rescue Han in Return of the Jedi and they take a look back at the 2008 Oscars.
What is an inclusion rider? Did the 2008 Academy Awards get it right? What was Luke’s plan? The answers to these questions and more are on this week’s show.
This week’s music:
- Intro – “Giddy Up” by Tahuna Breaks
- End – “There’s Always Tomorrow” by Uncle Neptune
