Silver Linings Playback 90 – Supaidāman (Japanese Spider-man)

Joel Murphy and Andy McIntyre watch maligned movies and find their silver linings. For the month of January, in honor of Spider-man: No Way Home, they are watching maligned Spider-man films.
Joel and Andy close out the month with the 24-minute Japanese film スパイダーマン, which premiered at the Toei Manga Matsuri film festival on July 22, 1978. A tie-in with the Japanese Spider-man TV show, the film features giant robots, aliens and a kick-ass theme song.
Theme Song: “Bankin’” by Bronson Scott
